2 Down, 1 To Go
The hall bathroom is finished. Totally redone. Marble on the walls, travertine on the floor. Replaced the wood window in the shower with glass block. It’s a big improvement from the worn-out tile and purple walls that we started with.
Marble
I picked out tile for the walls today–”remi beige” marble (at ~$3 a foot, it was about the cheapest marble that I could find that was still decent looking). The sample pieces of the new tile is sitting on the travertine tile in the half bath. I’m 99% sure the floor will be dark brown, [...]
Bathroom Progress
The bathroom is starting to take shape. Cement board is up, ceiling drywall is patched, and the window has been replaced. My block window looks just like it should–pretty good for a first attempt. The red stuff on the walls is a roll-on waterproofing membrane. Still need to pick out tile.
