Stack of Floor
This big plie of 3″ oak will someday (soon, hopefully) be the floor in the new room. I really like wood floors. I really didn’t like carrying all of this upstairs.

Morning Reading
Becca was doing her morning reading, although I’m not sure she was totally awake yet in this picture–she still looks a little tired!

Let there be light!
We have lights in the new room–yay! And the framing is underway. Framing is fun–a pneumatic framing nailer and a good saw make building the knee wall in the picture about a 15 minute ordeal.

Little Becca loves shoes–including these Vans that big Becca got her. Little Becca generally likes to pick out her own shoes to wear; lately it’s been a toss-up between these Vans and her jelly shoes. She has also added “shoes” to her small (but growing) repertoire of words
